Description:
RTL Group have a great opportunity for a freelance site engineer to work in Wick. You will have the opportunity to work with one a major tier 1 civils contractor who have a great reputation within the industry.
Accommodation is provided by the client.
Duties-
* Surveying and Setting Out all relevant works
* Check drawings and quantities
* Schedule materials liaising procurement
* Plan and efficiently organise site operations to meet an agreed programme
* Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors
* Supervise and monitor the site labour force and monitor the work of any sub-contractors • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Requirements- Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Civil Engineering.
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally experienced as a Main Contractor
* Experiene in Setting Out and Surveying
* Experience with CAD, AutoCAD.
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
