Role: Site Engineer
Rate: £280-£380 per day
This leading Groundwork and Civil Engineering Contractor have a solid reputation in the industry and have an opportunity for a Site Engineer to join their team based out of Birmingham.
You'll be working on multiple commercial build schemes between £1-10 million which include groundworks, foundations, holding down bolts, steel frame, roads and sewers, and 278 works.
Role:
As a Site Engineer you will be required to work on jobs within the West Midlands Region. You will be provided with a company car / van.
Duties:
* Previous Setting out experience with groundworks firms
* Working alongside design teams/estimating/commercial and site managers to ensure levels are accurate to clients specification
* Overseeing a variety of civil works on site including drainage, QA, Pipe laying etc.
* Proven track record on similar, large scale projects
* Setting out and monitoring of works on site
* Operating and promoting a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
* Completing relevant paperwork - RAMS, ITP's
* Experience working on major construction build projects
* CSCS card
* SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)
* Driving Licence
* HNC/HND
