Description:
We are currently recruiting an Experienced Site Engineer to work on refurbishment project in Royston.
This is a freelance position and duration of 1st phase will be 10weeks; potential of winning phase 2 before the completion of Phase 1.
As the Site Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Management of work to high standards of performance in line with project procedures and applicable standards, through the leadership of “setting to work” briefing with safety and quality focus.
* Managing site engineers and ensure they are using correct AFC drawing.
* Managing setting out on site (very limited)
* Knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
* Assist supervisor with technical information and materials.
* Maintain site diary.
* Review drawing and raise RFI/TQ as required.
* Carrying out of quality assurance inspections.
* Ensuring a safe working practice
* Support project manager and contract manager on day today activities.
* SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification
Skills:
* Previously worked as a site engineer/ Senior Engineer on Civil/ RC Frame or refurbishment project.
* Hold a valid CSCS card SMSTS (having First Aid will be advantages)
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferable.
* Ideal candidate must have rights to live and work in UK
