Site Engineer – Residential Construction
Location: Central London
Salary: £65,000–£80,000 per annum
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Ridgeway & Co Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a main contractor delivering residential and mixed-use construction projects across Central London.
The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and experience working on multi-storey apartment developments, ideally including reinforced concrete frames and associated structural works.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out setting out, surveying and dimensional control.
*
Ensure construction works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
*
Coordinate engineering activities with subcontractors and site management.
*
Maintain quality assurance records, inspections and as-built documentation.
*
Assist with technical queries and resolve site engineering issues.
*
Monitor works against programme and health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
*
Previous Site Engineer experience with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
*
Experience on residential, RC frame or large-scale building projects.
*
Competent using total stations and surveying equipment.
*
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
*
Relevant civil engineering or construction qualification.
*
CSCS card.
