I'm currently looking for a talented Site Engineer with expertise in tunnelling to contribute to a prestigious nuclear project in Bridgwater. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing tunnelling activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate tunnelling activities on-site, including excavation, lining, and support systems installation.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and technical requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high construction standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to optimise project delivery.
Implement safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to site personnel as needed.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in tunnelling projects, preferably within the nuclear or large-scale infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of tunnelling methods, equipment, and materials.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
