Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer/ setting out Engineer to work on RC Frame & Groundwork project based in Bristol. The Site/ Setting out Engineer role is expected to start end of April 2024. The project will be a mixture of Groundworks and reinforced concrete works. It is a 08-12 Months.
As the Site / Setting out Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Accurate setting out/surveying.
* Conduct quality control checks and build records.
* Assist senior engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely.
* Assist in the supervising of sub - contractors on site.
Setting out Engineer Candidate must have:
* Valid CSCS card.
* Previously worked as a Setting out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor.
* Also, previous experience with Pre-cast and PT Slab construction is preferred.
* Experienced in RC work and Groundwork- min 3-4 years UK experience is essential.
* As a setting out Engineer, you must be proficient with TSO6 and 16 series surveying instruments, be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
