Description:
Abatec is seeking a Site Engineer on a freelance contract to join our client for a Civil Engineering project in Bristol.
The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, setting out, quality assurance and have prior experience working on a scheme including steel frame buildings, groundworks and drainage.
As Site Engineer you will:
* Have extensive experience across civil engineering projects.
* Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
* Be competent with issuing permits to break ground and
* Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
* Experience with Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical, and digital levels).
* Valid CSCS, CAT & Genny ticket and experience with self-delivery.
* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in steel frame buildings, groundworks and drainage.
* Degree qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
Salary/Benefits:
* £325-£375 per day CIS Umbrella
