SITE-BASED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

We are currently recruiting for a Site-Based Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing operation within the packaging sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join a busy production environment, supporting the reliability, performance and continuous improvement of specialist industrial machinery. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring production operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities;
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial production equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults.
Support equipment reliability, continuous improvement and preventative maintenance programmes.
Work collaboratively with production and engineering colleagues to minimise downtime.
Maintain high standards of health and safety and engineering compliance.
Assist with equipment installations, modifications and improvement projects where required.We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in a manufacturing, packaging, processing or other automated industrial environment.
You will ideally have:
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Experience maintaining automated machinery and production systems.
A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and problem solving.
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
Relevant electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
Experience within high-volume manufacturing, packaging or other process-driven industries would be advantageous.The Package
