Site Based Electrician

Position Description
* Electrical installation and connection of Air Handling Units (AHUs) on site
* Termination of motors, sensors, actuators, control panels, and MCBs
* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings
* Assisting with commissioning, testing, and fault-finding of AHUs
* Liaising with site managers, mechanical contractors, and commissioning engineers
* Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and site H&S requirements
* Completing site documentation, test certificates, and reports
* Occasional support at the manufacturing facility for panel testing or build assistance (as required)
Required Skills / Educations:
* Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* ECS / CSCS card
* Proven experience in site-based electrical work
* Ability to work from drawings and schematics
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Professional attitude with good communication skills
Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
* Previous experience working with AHUs, HVAC systems, or BMS controls
* Commissioning experience
* IPAF / PASMA
* First Aid at Work
* Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
