Site Assistant (Inspection)

Description:

List Recruitment is seeking a Site Assistant (Inspection) for a temporary contract at a top tier COMAH site in Scunthorpe.  The role involves working within a Structural Inspection team and is offered on an initial 3 month contract with the potential of a permanent role for the successful candidate.
 
The hours of work are 42 per week, 7.00am – 3.30pm Monday – Thursday, 7.00am – 3.00pm Friday.
 
The position is based 50/50 on site and in an office

Responsibilities:

Banksman duties for work at height activities
Assisting Structural Inspectors carrying out site wide inspections as and when required
Maintain accurate records of inspections
Report writing
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment  
Experience

Ability to display high levels of safety, integrity and professionalism at all times.
Knowledge of inspection (NDT, structural) is ideal although training will be provided to the right candidate. 
IT skills such as report writing
Effective communication skills 
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
