Clarkson Owens Recruitment is currently working with a large civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Agent / Project Manager for an upcoming renewables project.
The role will initially focus on pre-construction activities for a major renewables project in Dundee, with some involvement in an existing project in Edinburgh during the first few weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent or Project Manager with a civil engineering background who is looking to work with a major contractor on a busy and potentially long-term programme of work.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting the pre-construction phase of a major renewables project.
*
Liaising directly with the client and other project stakeholders.
*
Preparing and reviewing method statements and associated project documentation.
*
Assisting with the planning and coordination of upcoming works.
*
Helping oversee an existing project in Edinburgh during the initial 3–4 weeks.
*
Working closely with the wider project and site teams to ensure works are properly planned and coordinated.
*
Maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
*
Supporting the project through to construction and delivery as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
*
Previous experience as a Site Agent, Project Manager or similar within civil engineering.
*
Strong experience working with clients and project stakeholders.
*
Experience preparing method statements and project documentation.
*
A strong understanding of pre-construction and project planning.
*
Experience working on large-scale civil engineering projects.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
The ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with the wider project team.
*
Experience within the renewables sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
