Site Agent | Tier 1 Contractor | Norwich
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major infrastructure project in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme, taking responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of works on site.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day site operations across civil engineering works.
Leading Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors, and site teams.
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Delivering works in accordance with programme and contractual requirements.
Producing and reviewing RAMS, permits, and work packages.
Monitoring progress, productivity, and project performance.
Managing client and stakeholder relationships on site.
Supporting commercial reporting, change control, and cost management.
Ensuring accurate site documentation and reporting.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Agent, Sub Agent, or Senior Site Manager within a Tier 1 contractor environment.
Strong background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Good understanding of NEC contracts.
Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
Ability to lead teams and drive programme delivery.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
