Rate: £400–£450/Day Ltd (DOE)

Length of Contract: 6 months initially, potential to extend to 10 months
Working Pattern: 5 days on site

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a large-scale converter station project. The position will be heavily focused on driving construction delivery, coordinating contractors and ensuring individual work packages progress safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
Job Role
As Site Agent, you will take responsibility for coordinating and driving delivery across the project, working closely with subcontractors, site teams, engineering and commercial functions. You will monitor progress against programme, manage interfaces between different packages, resolve delivery issues and ensure quality and health & safety standards are maintained.
The role will involve packages across civils, structural steelwork, cladding and associated infrastructure. This is a delivery management position rather than a hands-on site role, but will require a strong site presence and understanding of construction activities.
Requirements
· Previous experience as a Site Agent within major construction, civil engineering or energy infrastructure
· Strong construction delivery background
· Main contractor or civils contractor experience
· Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple work packages
· Converter station / energy infrastructure experience highly desirable
· Structural steelwork and cladding experience advantageous
· Strong programme, quality and H&S understanding
· Valid SMSTS
· Valid CSCS Card
· Strong leadership and communication skills
The position is 5 days per week on site, with a start required towards the end of August. Off-site parking is available, with transport provided from the car park to the project.
