Site Agent
Due to the nature of this project, which is based on a high-security site, successful candidates will be required to undergo additional security screening. BPSS-level security clearance is mandatory, and the clearance process may take approximately 4–6 weeks.
Please note that only candidates who:
* Hold a passport from an EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member country, and
* Have continuously resided in the UK for the past 5 years
will be eligible for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for:
* Managing project programmes, commercial performance, and the effective utilisation of resources to meet delivery targets.
* Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Taking full ownership of project profit and loss, including:
* Target cost control
* Financial forecasting and reviews
* Final cost and value reviews in collaboration with the commercial team
* Ensuring all labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources are accurately recorded and managed.
* Delivering works in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
* Leading client interfaces and supporting successful project delivery across both technical and commercial aspects.
* Managing and leading technical teams within a fast-paced and competitive business environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
* A relevant qualification such as:
* Management Qualification
* NVQ Level 3
* HNC
* Degree
* Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
* Previous experience working within reinforced concrete, groundworks, and civil engineering projects.
* Experience using Leica Survey equipment, including:
* GPS
* Total Stations
* Optical Levels
* Digital Levels
* Strong setting out and surveying capabilities.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
* Ideally, candidates will be working towards Chartership or Incorporation with IStructE, ICE, or another recognised professional body.
