Structures Site Agent – Infrastructure Scheme
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive + Package
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structures Site Agent to join a major infrastructure scheme in Didcot, working for a well-established main contractor.
This is a key site-based position overseeing the delivery of structures and associated civil engineering works, managing site teams, subcontractors and resources to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
The Role
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of structures and associated civil engineering works.
* Manage site operations, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources.
* Oversee construction activities including reinforced concrete, structural works, foundations and associated infrastructure.
* Monitor progress and productivity, identifying and resolving issues that could impact delivery.
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved designs, RAMS, quality requirements and project specifications.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client representatives.
* Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
* Assist with planning, sequencing and short-term programming of works.
About You
* Previous experience as a Site Agent / Sub Agent on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
* Strong experience delivering structures packages is essential.
* Good understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and temporary works.
* Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety and quality requirements.
* Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
* Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
* CSCS, SMSTS and relevant site qualifications.
