Description:
Abatec is proud to be working with a family-owned Civil Engineering business with a turnover more than £70M. Our client is well known for delivering highway infrastructure projects for the public sector and for private clients. They are experiencing sustained growth and have stability of work from several highways’ frameworks.
As Site Agent you will:
* Be responsible for delivering schemes from pre-construction to handover
* Manage day to day operations on site, including labour/plant/materials allocation, temporary works, health and safety.
* Ensure that projects are completed on budget, within programme deadlines and to our clients technical specifications.
* Liaise regularly with Contracts Managers, providing programme and progress reports.
* Ensure all H+S related paperwork is completed to the correct standards
Our client requires a Site Agent with:
* ONC/HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a similar position within the Civils sector, ideally on schemes involving RC structures on highways.
* SMSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS
Salary/Benefits:
* £320 - £370 per shift
