An established and growing Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Site Administrator / Office Manager to join their project team on a full-time, site-based basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to become a key part of a busy construction project, supporting both the site team and wider business operations.
The Role
As the Site Administrator / Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site office while providing administrative support to the Project Manager, Site Management Team, and Head Office.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing all site administration and document control activities
* Maintaining project records, registers, and filing systems
* Processing inductions and site onboarding documentation
* Coordinating meetings and preparing minutes where required
* Managing timesheets, labour records, and attendance logs
* Handling correspondence, emails, and telephone enquiries
* Ordering and managing office supplies and site consumables
* Assisting with health & safety documentation and compliance records
* Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
* Supporting commercial and operational teams with general administration duties
* Ensuring all project documentation is accurately maintained and updated
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Administrator, Project Administrator, Document Controller, or Office Manager within the construction industry
* Experience working for a Main Contractor would be highly advantageous
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
* Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
* Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
