Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
* Manage and maintain site documentation, including permits, qualification matrixes, and safety records.
* Organize and update project files, ensuring all documents are accurate and accessible.
* Assist in preparing and distributing project-related correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes
Communication Coordination:
Serve as a central point of contact for site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
* Facilitate effective communication channels between different parties involved in the construction process.
* Relay messages, instructions, and updates promptly and accurately to ensure smooth project progression.
Schedule Management:
Assist in the coordination of construction schedules, including monitoring progress and milestones.
* Maintain up-to-date calendars for site activities, meetings, deliveries, and inspections.
* Coordinate with project managers to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
Procurement and Inventory:
Assist in ordering and tracking materials, equipment, and supplies needed for construction activities.
* Maintain inventory records and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to the site.
Health and Safety Compliance:
* Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures on-site.
* Assist in maintaining safety records, conducting safety audits, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
* Coordinate training sessions and ensure that all personnel are informed and compliant with safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in administrative roles within the construction industry is advantageous.
* MUST have a valid and in-date CSCS or CPCS card in order to complete induction.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
* Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures is desirable.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, 7:30-17:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.00 per hour
