Are you an experienced ITU Sister/Charge Nurse (RGN) seeking a challenge in London? Stroud Resourcing is working with an award-winning healthcare provider to find an experienced ITU Nurse for their welcoming and dedicated Intensive Care Team. This role comes with a generous salary of £57,000 and excellent benefits. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours across a rotation of shift patterns over Monday-Friday plus occasional weekends and nights.
It’s an exciting time to be joining the hospital! They are proud to have a ‘Good’ CQC rating and offer a range of complex services including Neuro, Spinal, Cardiac, Orthopaedics, Oncology and more. This well-equipped, busy hospital has 200+ beds, a 20+ bed ITU, 4 operating theatres and 38 consulting rooms.
As the ITU Sister/Charge Nurse, you can expect to:
Take charge of their ITU Unit, coordinating the nursing team (15-20 nurses) and supporting them within their professional & clinical development.
Guide shifts, organise rotas and mentor junior members of the team, deputising for the ITU Manager as needed.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities you will continue to clinically support patients.To apply for this Sister/Charge Nurse role, you will need to be an NMC Registered Nurse with previous experience treating intensive care patients. Prior experience as an ITU Sister/Charge Nurse is essential to ensure you can really hit the ground running within this role and start making a positive impact from day one!
