Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter for a long-term project in Melton Mowbray. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
* Assemble and install formwork for various concrete structures
* Ensure accuracy and quality of formwork construction
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Excellent carpentry skills and attention to detail
* Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
* Valid CSCS Card is mandatory
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
