Description:
Seeking a proactive Shutdown Superintendent to manage the Project shutdown welfare area, maintain site amenities, coordinate with project leads, and oversee minor civil works for smooth facility operations.
Working 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for 6-months, with overtime during shutdown and peak project times in return for a competitive salary and opportunities for training and career development in a supportive environment.
Motivated, computer literate, and possess strong communication skills, you will be:
Serving as contact for all contractor companies during the shutdown/project period for facility-related issues and main point of contact for cleaning staff within the compound
Handling minor repair needs for both the shutdown/project area and existing plant infrastructure
Liaising with project leads to organise necessary infrastructure
Overseeing vermin control and organising grass cutting and weed control
Managing procurement and off-hiring of equipment, diesel top-ups, and ensuring proper documentation
Organising and expediting minor civil works
Ordering and placing signage, with assistance provided for determining requirements
Attending regular meetings to report issues and organise planned work
