Description:

Steel Cactus Recruitment are working exclusively with their client; a well known service provider of industrial painting within the indutrial sector.

Due to business demand they are currently looking for a Shotblaster with experience within the industrial sector

Duties

Loading & unloading of wagons & moving small & large fabricated steel items around the workplace using the FLT & Overhead Cranes
Working daily with small & large fabricated steel items ranging from 1kg to 10tonne
Prepare items for shotblasting
General Shotblasting duties
Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily
Work to specific production schedules
Complete all administrative procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Pack completed works for despatch
Perform general labour tasks as assigned
Perform manual Blast Cleaning in our Blast Booth & use of the Automated Conveyor

Qualifications

Folk Lift Truck Counterbalance experience (valid licence essential)
Overhead Crane experience (license preferred)

Hours of Work

Monday – Thursday - 6am – 2pm
Friday – 6am – 1pm
