Description:
To prepare and shot blast materials for powder coating in line with internal specifications, ensuring high-quality finishes while meeting production targets, tolerances, safety requirements and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Shot blasting parts to SA 2.5 standards.
Prepare, sand, fill and smooth surfaces for powder coating.
Carry out visual and quality inspections.
Maintain equipment and follow all SSOWs/safety procedures.
Meet production targets and quality standards.
Report issues and support continuous improvement.
Experience
1+ year's shot blasting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Good mechanical knowledge and experience using hand/power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Shift Pattern:
Days: Mon-Thurs 07:00-16:00 | Fri 07:00-13:00
Late: Mon-Thurs 16:00-02:00
