Shop Floor Operative

As a Shop Floor Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our manufacturing operations. You'll be working across multiple departments, gaining experience in different production processes while helping us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

This is a varied and active role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (full training provided where required).
Work across different production and manufacturing areas as business needs dictate.
Assemble, pack, inspect, and prepare products to quality standards.
Carry out quality checks and report any issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
Assist with general shop floor duties as required.
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or factory environment (preferred but not essential).
A strong work ethic and a reliable approach.
Flexibility to work across different departments and tasks.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work in a physically active role
