Production Shift Team Leader

To £12.90 per hour plus benefits
We are seeking a motivated and capable Shift Operator to take Team Leader responsibilities to support the Production Manager for one of our long standing clients. Your role will be to ensure daily production targets are met which will include taking on extra duties with regards to running the shift in the manager's absence, and ensuring the team maintains consistent performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the production team to oversee planned output and report issues to the Shift Manager.
Ensure Operators consistently meet output targets.
Manage the shift during the Production Manager's absence.
Report machine breakdowns following company procedures.
Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and report any incidents or concerns.
Hold factory keys and be responsible for opening and closing the facility when necessary.
Attend meetings where production representation is required.Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Production Operative ideally with some supervisory experience
Fork Lift Truck license holder or willingness to train to obtain one.
Preferred, but not essential: First Aid Certificate.Personal Attributes:
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
