Shift Production Operative
Temp To Perm
Hourly Rate: £14.21 based on 42 hours per week
Are you ready to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of a production plant? Our client, a renowned organisation in the manufacturing industry, is seeking Production Operatives to join their team. If you have a passion for manufacturing, PC skills, and a knack for numbers, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out tasks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Meet quality requirements and perform all necessary quality checks as per specifications.
Utilise IT applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and the digital inventory system.
Identify operational waste sources and report them to the Team Leader.
Foster a cooperative and supportive work environment
Adhere to company policies and procedures, such as the Code of Ethics, Dignity in the Workplace, No Smoking, and Absence Policy.
Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and site facilities through proper housekeeping.
Willingness to learn and operate all machines in the production plants.
Wear the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) and workwear at all times.Additional Information:
- Work on a shift pattern: one week on 3 days from 7am to 7pm, followed by one week on 4 nights from 7pm to 7am.
Flexibility regarding the shift pattern, subject to notice periods and company needs.Requirements:
Previous experience in manufacturing would be advantageous.
Proficient in using IT applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook.
Good mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
