Location: KeighleySalary: £40,000–£44,000 per annum, DOEContract: Full-time, PermanentShift Pattern: 3 on, 3 off (rotating days and nights)

We're looking for a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team in Keighley. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production equipment, ensuring our manufacturing operation runs safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.

A Day in the Life and the Impact You'll Make

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our production operation, ensuring our extrusion and thermoforming equipment remains reliable, efficient and safe. From carrying out planned preventative maintenance to responding quickly to breakdowns, you'll use your electrical and mechanical expertise to minimise downtime and keep production on track. Working closely with colleagues across Engineering and Production, you'll also contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance performance, reliability and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

•  Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.•  Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, responding quickly to breakdowns and completing effective repairs.•  Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS while communicating progress and updates to key stakeholders.•  Support engineering improvement projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.•  Promote a positive health and safety culture, ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and compliance standards.

About You

You'll be a proactive Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, who enjoys working as part of a team while taking ownership of technical challenges. You'll thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and performance.

You'll also bring:

•  Apprentice-trained in an Engineering discipline.•  Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.•  Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.•  Ideally a minimum of three years' maintenance engineering experience.•  Experience carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.•  Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.•  A flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work.•  Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to health and safety.
