Adecco Engineering is thrilled to be exclusively partnering with our client in the Edinburgh area, in the search for a highly versatile Shift Maintenance Engineer. If you are a professional, self-motivated individual seeking an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced environment, then this role is for you!

As part of a small engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of one of our client's laundries. This dynamic and varied position requires excellent maintenance and fault-finding skills, along with a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude in dealing with a wide variety of tasks.

Our client, a specialist in supplying the corporate 4-star market, the budget hotel sector, and national gyms, is seeking a talented individual to join their organisation as a Shift Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will provide vital support, helping to ensure the smooth running of the business within a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

Completion of routine maintenance in line with the agreed site plan.
Repair and maintenance of plant and equipment to minimise production downtime.
Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes.
Ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with current health and safety legislation.To succeed in this role, you should have:

Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
A track record of working in a fast-paced production environment.
Proficiency in PLC's.
A proactive and can-do attitude.
4 on 4 off shiftWhile experience in the laundry or FMCG industry would be advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant transferable skills and a passion for learning.
