The Role

As a Shift Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a professional, close-knit maintenance team responsible for keeping this flagship site running at peak performance. Working across both electrical and mechanical systems, no two shifts will be the same — you'll need sharp technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to act decisively when it matters.

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off | Days only | 07:00 – 19:00 (An excellent work-life balance with long breaks built in)

What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site
Monitoring and maintaining HVAC systems, power distribution, lighting, and pumps
Conducting fault-finding, testing, and inspections on critical building systems
Supporting the operation of the Building Management System (BMS)
Maintaining detailed maintenance records and upholding the highest H&S compliance standards
Responding swiftly to breakdowns to minimise disruption and protect the site's operationWhat's In It For You

Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
Proven experience in building services, facilities management, or a critical environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
