Salary: £37,000 Basic + £7,000 Shift Allowance (£44,000 Package)

Are you a Shift Engineer looking for a stable static role with excellent earning potential?
We're recruiting for a Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team supporting a highly secure, specialist environment in the Salisbury area.
This role would suit an engineer with a mechanical bias or a strong building services/fabric maintenance background. You don't need to be heavily technical — the focus is on monitoring systems, responding to alarms and ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
The Role
*
Monitor the BMS (Building Management System) and respond to alarms
*
Identify issues and escalate faults when required
*
Carry out basic mechanical and building services checks
*
Complete routine site inspections
*
Support planned and reactive maintenance activities
*
Maintain accurate records and update reports
*
Work alongside the wider engineering team to ensure site compliance
What We're Looking For
*
Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or Commercial Maintenance
*
Mechanical bias preferred, although a strong general maintenance background would be considered
*
Comfortable using or monitoring BMS systems
*
Good communication and reporting skills
*
Able to work a shift pattern covering both days and nights
*
Willingness to obtain BPSS security clearance
