SHEQ Manager
Salary: Up to £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus
Location: Flexible, with UK-wide travel
A well-established construction company is looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality activity across the business.
This is a senior role covering pre-construction, live projects and company-wide compliance. The successful SHEQ Manager will work closely with directors, contracts managers and site teams, promoting a practical and collaborative approach to safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and improve SHEQ systems, policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
* Support Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 submissions.
* Prepare and review Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments and SHEQ documentation.
* Carry out site inspections and audits across UK projects.
* Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
* Manage training, competency records and the training matrix.
* Support quality, environmental and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a senior SHEQ role within construction.
* Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and CDM Regulations.
* Experience supporting Building Safety Regulator Gateway submissions.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
