SHEQ Advisor
Remote working covering - North of England and Midlands area
£50,000 plus car allowance and benefits
Full -Time / Permanent
This is a remote working role, however you will be expected to travel on be onsite, therefore, please only apply is this is suitable
As a “Hands-On” SHEQ Advisor from the construction or civil engineering sector, you will be passionate about all aspects of health and safety, along with a practical approach.
To ensure adherence to all procedures and practices, it is essential to possess relevant experience as a SHEQ Advisor from a comparable background.
YOUR NEW ROLE

Plan inspections focusing on SHEQ compliance
*
Working with project teams to deliver highest HSE standards on all projects
*
Managing contractors
*
Making sure safe maintenance and risk management of all plant and materials on all projects worked
*
Delivering bespoke / accredited training programmes and producing educational material
*
Equipment inspections
*
Leading incident investigations
REQUIRED SKILLS
*
Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role
*
NEBOSH Construction Certificate
*
CSCS Card
*
Knowledge and experience of groundworks and reinforced concrete frameworks
*
Experienced in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
*
Competent user of Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
*
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
*
IEMA Certification (Advantageous)
*
Temporary Works Coordinator (Advantageous)
*
Experience of lifting equipment (Advantageous)
