Description:

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Civil Engineering Subcontractor on an Energy from Waste project to recruit a SHEQ Advisor on a 6-month contract for their site in Essex.

The SHEQ Advisor role comes with a day rate of £300 per day.

Key skills

SHEQ advisors must have the ability to devise practices within a workplace to ensure health and safety best practices. They provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters across an organization. Their goal is to protect the workforce and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
SHEQ advisors need to help organizations minimize their environmental impact. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental laws and promoting sustainable practices.
They monitor processes, procedures, and products to ensure quality. Their role contributes to overall quality assurance within the organization.
Suitable candidates will
Have experience in Civils Construction
Knowledge and experience of temporary works and confined spaces
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or Equivalent & CSCS Card
Uphold high health and safety standards, compliance with ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards and support the construction team.
Be computer literate.
Attention to detail and administration / record keeping skills.
