BDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager for our client in York YO32

You will have previous experience working as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager or have worked in Social Housing/Supported Living. This role will be running a retirement living service.

Hours – Part time 20 hour per week, Monday to Friday.

Pay £13.71 per hour PAYE or £16.67 via Umbrella, from April it will be up to £17.59 per hour.

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, completing support plans and sign posting information

You will also report repairs and complete Health and Safety Checks and be in charge of the running of the Scheme as a whole and will need to deliver a constant high service at all times.
Managing voids and lettings, ensuring the scheme is maintained and being responsible for resident engagement and involvement.

The role is temporary to begin with plus a chance to interview for the permanent position.
