We are currently looking to recruit a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager for our Client in Folkstone
Part time position offering 25 hours per week.
Pay £16.36 per hour PAYE or £20.37 via Umbrella
To be considered for this role you will have previous experience working as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager or have worked in Social Housing / Supported Living.
The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, completing support plans and sign posting information, whilst liaising with in-house support workers on a daily basis to ensure a continued smooth service.
You will also report repairs and complete Health and Safety Checks and be in charge of the running of the Scheme as a whole and will need to deliver a constant high service at all times.
Managing voids and lettings, ensuring the scheme is maintained and being responsible for resident engagement and involvement.
Ideally you will
* have strong housing management experience and knowledge (especially in the social housing and retirement living sector)
* can hit the ground running – using the best of their experience to deliver a top in class ‘customer focused’ service
* work proactively and professionally (so actively seeks for answers to questions amongst the resources available to them, rather than waiting to be told)
* be able to read and understand policy and procedure and other data-heavy information
* be IT literate and able to pick up use of new systems quickly
* be comfortable & competent working alone and with others as a team
