Description:
Sheet metal worker required to join a well-established precision engineering company that is based in the Erith area. The successful candidate will come from a sheet metal background and live within a commutable distance.
Sheet Metal Worker Position Requirements
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, shaping, bending, and joining.
Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools, such as shears, brakes, punches, welding equipment, and measuring tools is advantages.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues or defects in sheet metal products or installations.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills to calculate dimensions, angles, and quantities of materials needed.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Good physical stamina and strength to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy and bulky sheet metal products and equipment.
CNC Lunch Press, or press brake experience is very advantageous

Monday to Friday - 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 12)
