6 Month Contract

5 days on site

Sites will be located across Sussex and Kent - with some Ad-hoc support very occasionally required for Testwood, Hampshire.

Rate: £200-£350 per day Inside IR35

Elevate your career in Health and Safety with a pivotal role that places you at the heart of ensuring workplace safety and compliance. A prestigious client is seeking a diligent Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join their SHEQ team on a 6-month contract.

As a dedicated HSE Advisor, you will be the cornerstone of the team, ensuring that health and safety legislation is not only met but exceeded across various sites in Sussex and Kent. Your expertise will also be called upon occasionally in Testwood, Hampshire, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to support wider regional efforts.

The role promises a dynamic work environment, with five days on-site engagement each week, where your proactive approach to safety will directly impact the well-being of numerous workplaces. Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, your role will be multifaceted, encompassing the support of regional management teams, conducting thorough audits, and leading the charge in accident investigation to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

To excel in this role you will require:

* Experience in health and safety practices, particularly within the Water Treatment/Construction industry.

* Knowledge of HSE Directives, UK statutory health and safety law, and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) will be essential.

* Proficiency in ISO 45001 or similar management systems, coupled with a formal qualification in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., NEBOSH Construction Certificate), will be expected.

* A CSCS card or affiliated scheme (SHEA Water) is also required.
