SHE Advisor

Location: Teesside

Salary: £40,000 * £60,000 + Company Van or Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (SHE) Advisor to support the delivery of a major concrete and heavy civils project on the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) development.

This opportunity would suit someone with experience within heavy civils, reinforced concrete or groundworks, looking to play a key role on a nationally significant project.

SHE Advisor Salary & Benefits

Salary: £40,000 * £60,000
23 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing with length of service.

SHE Advisor Job Overview

Provide practical SHE support across multiple live construction projects.
Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
Promote Health, Safety and Environmental best practice.
Review RAMS, CoSHH, PUWER, LOLER and Fire compliance.
Deliver toolbox talks and behavioural safety briefings.
Lead accident, incident and near miss investigations.
Support contractor management and operational planning.
Deliver internal SHE training where required.
Build strong working relationships with project teams and clients.

SHE Advisor Job Requirements

NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
CSCS Card.
Previous Health & Safety experience within Civil Engineering, Groundworks or RC Frame projects.
Good understanding of current H&S legislation and industry best practice.
Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
IEMA or other environmental qualification.
Temporary Works, Fire Risk or CoSHH qualifications.
Experience delivering training or toolbox talks.
