Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Kirriemuir for skilled Sewing Machinists to join their production team.

This is not a general production role. We're looking for candidates who have sewing experience and take real pride in producing quality work. If you enjoy working with precision, have a strong eye for detail, and are confident using sewing machinery, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a business that values craftsmanship, consistency and teamwork.

Working within a specialist manufacturing environment, you'll be producing technical textile products that require accuracy, care and attention to detail. The Role

As a Sewing Machinist, you will be responsible for:

Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
Producing specialist textile products to exact specifications.
Working to high quality standards whilst meeting production targets.
Carrying out routine quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
Completing production records and documentation accurately.
Identifying and reporting faults or quality concerns promptly.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Supporting the wider production team where required.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Previous sewing experience, ideally using industrial sewing machines.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong reliability, punctuality and work ethic.
Willingness to work rotating early and back shifts.Desirable:

Experience within textiles, upholstery, upholstery sewing, canvas work, automotive trimming, sail making or other manufacturing sewing environments.
Previous experience working to production targets and quality standards.
