Description:
Peace Recruitment is working with one of Scotland's most established Civil Engineering Contractors to recruit a freelance Site Engineer for up to 12 months in East Ayrshire, on a new renewables project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct precise setting out of structures and equipment as per project requirements.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
* Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
* Provide technical expertise and support to the project team as needed.
* Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Able to use Trimble Total Station & GPS.
* Proven experience in setting out engineering on substations or wind farms is preferred.
* Proficiency in using surveying instruments and CAD software.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Valid driving license
