Setting Out Engineer (Permanent)
Salary: £60,000 + Company Car + Fuel Card
Location: Regional (Pembroke to Oxford corridor - all travel expenses covered)

Are you an autonomous, precision-driven Setting Out Engineer looking for a secure, permanent role with an excellent civil engineering contractor?
We are looking for a skilled engineer to manage setting out and quality assurance across a variety of high-profile civils, rail, and National Grid projects stretching from Pembroke to Oxford. If you love the freedom of the road, want your travel fully funded, and enjoy seeing a project through from first stake to final hand-over, this is for you.

What you'll be doing:
As our go-to engineer on the ground, you will be responsible for the full engineering lifecycle on-site, including:
Setting Out: Delivering pinpoint accuracy on diverse civil and infrastructure packages.
Quality Assurance (QA): Managing QA processes and compiling rigorous ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
As-Builts: Generating precise as-built surveys and documentation for client handover.
What we need from you:
Note: Due to the nature of our frameworks, a background in National Grid, Civils, or Rail environments is essential.
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer with strong technical capabilities.
Full proficiency in managing ITPs, QAs, and As-Builts.
Flexibility to travel: You must be comfortable working across the Pembroke to Oxford region (remember, we cover the costs!).
Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) and valid site tickets (CSCS, etc.).
