Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose designed production facility. The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fabricator/Setter to become an integral part of our Client's team. The Senior Fabricator/Setter will be responsible for supporting the management achieve daily production requirements. The minutia of the role includes;
* Setting up plant and machinery
* Ensure operators are trained and competent in a task before starting
* Check 1st off is correct
* Ensure operator knows time to complete task and clocks on correctly
* Operate production equipment
* Train/mentor less experienced operators
The CANDIDATE
The right candidate Senior Fabricator/Setter will possess;
* Strong experience of working in a production environment
* Ability to train operators
* Pride in doing a job well
* Background in automotive/aerospace
