We are currently seeking experienced Set Carpenters for upcoming work with a well-established set building company based in Chelmsford, Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the construction of high-quality sets for a variety of projects, including film, TV, sporting events, and brand events.
Key Responsibilities:

Construct scenic elements from timber, sheet materials, and modular components

Read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans

Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of finish

Safely operate power and hand tools
*
Collaborate with other trades and departments on-site
Requirements

Proven experience in set construction or similar carpentry-based environments
*
Strong understanding of scenic carpentry techniques
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Local to the Chelmsford (Essex) area or able to reliably commute
