Sessional Lecturer – Beauty Therapy

The School of Vocational and Technical Studies at South Thames College are seeking a Sessional Lecturer to deliver outstanding quality teaching, learning, assessment, and tutorial support in Beauty Therapy.
Delivering teaching and assessment activities, including lectures, setting/marking coursework, practical activities, and field work, you will create and implement innovative teaching, learning and assessment, and actively contribute to the school community, identifying opportunities for employment and skills focused study for learners. You will undertake induction and set SMART targets for attendance and punctuality and take responsibility for the achievement and success data of the course.
We’re looking for someone who is qualified to degree level and who has recent experience of teaching Beauty Therapy in an FE College. You will have a successful record of tutoring and supporting learners and have strong working knowledge of current framework for teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance.
Able to work under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines, you will have strong evidence of effective employer engagement in curriculum design and delivery and have a successful record of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring, and reviewing progress.
