London or Birmingham with 3 days per week remote working

Inside IR35

Initially until April 2025

40 hours a week

Circa £65 PH (negotiable DOE)

About Us:

Our client is a forward-thinking organization committed to optimizing our digital, data, and technology landscape. As part of our strategic direction, led by our CEO, we are centralizing all-digital, data, and technology functions into our Digital Services Team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital, Data, and Technology Transition Lead to drive this critical transformation.

Role Overview:

As the Digital, Data, and Technology Transition Lead, you will spearhead the programme to consolidate shadow IT systems across the organization into the Digital Services Team by 31st March 2025. Your role will ensure the seamless transition of all digital, data, and technology assets, adhering to the Service Transition Criteria, and making certain that all services are fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the transition of all digital, data, and technology systems into Digital Services.
Ensure compliance with transition criteria and that all processes are appropriately followed.
Develop and implement a transition/carve-out strategy for IT services.
Translate strategy into a deliverable programme for separation, merger, or decommissioning of corporate and IT services.
Manage the financial carve-out, minimizing stranded costs and technical debt.
Develop integration strategies, service offerings, and service on boarding plans.
Define service levels for newly on boarded services.
Lead business cutover activities for critical services.
Conduct due diligence to map current state and desired future state of in-scope services.
Identify optimization and rationalization initiatives to improve the overall operating model.
Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, up to CIO/Executive level.
Handle business change and manage the people impacts of mergers and acquisitions (M&As).

Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience in Service Transition - essential.
Project Management expertise - essential.
Experience leading M&A in IT Services.
Proven ability to shape and execute transition/carve-out strategies.
Experience in financial management to minimize technical debt.
Strong background in developing integration and service onboarding strategies.
Deep understanding of digital, data, and technology solutions in corporate/IT services.
Experience defining service levels for new services.
Proven track record in leading business cutover activities for critical services.
Extensive experience in business change and managing people impacts of M&As.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
Experience across applications, ERP, infrastructure, data, cloud, architecture, and cyber security.
Competence in delivery, budgetary management, and risk management.
