Description:
Our client is a well-established main dealership in Wolverhampton and is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
Perform vehicle inspections and health checks, identifying any additional work required.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Complete all work in accordance with manufacturer repair methods, times, and company procedures.
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and vehicle health check documentation.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Liaise with Service Advisors and the Workshop Controller to provide updates on vehicle progress and any additional work required.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Deliver excellent workmanship and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.Minimum Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Previous experience as a Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Automotive Technician within a dealership or similar workshop environment.
Good mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong diagnostic abilities.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
