Position: Service & Support Engineer
Location: Field-based - England & Wales
Salary: Up to £21 per hour, dependent on experience
Hours: 45+ hours per week
Benefits: Company vehicle, laptop, uniform, pension, overtime at 1.5x and £30 per overnight stay
Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist client within process and packaging machinery, including robotic automation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Service & Support Engineer to join their team.
This is a field-based position involving programming, servicing, repairs and fault-finding on automated machinery at customer sites. You will also provide remote technical support and diagnose control system issues.
Travel across England and Wales is required, with regular overnight stays as needed.
Service & Support Engineer Requirements
Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, ideally S7-1200.
ABB robot programming experience, particularly IRC5.
Practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills.
Experience fault-finding, servicing and repairing industrial machinery.
Ability to provide remote technical support and online diagnostics.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and stay away overnight.
Desirable: Siemens or Weintek HMI programming experience, relevant engineering qualifications and accredited PLC or robotics training.
Service & Support Engineer Package
Up to £21 per hour, depending on experience.
Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked above 45 per week.
£30 overnight allowance per night away.
