Description:
Service Supervisor / Senior Support Engineer / Engineering Coordinator required to join a leading Engineering Manufacturer in Croydon.
The Service Supervisor / Senior Support Engineer / Engineering Coordinator provide Engineering support for all departments in a hands-on perspective.
The successful Technical Support Engineer / Service Support Engineer / Mechanical Engineer will ideally have an engineering background in Drive systems, power transmission, gearmotors, gearboxes, gear units, capital equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, hydraulics, or similar electro-mechanical engineering products.

The Service Supervisor / Senior Support Engineer / Engineering Coordinator role
To prove Engineering support for all departments in a hands-on perspective.
To provide assessments, engineering changes, inspections, fault investigation, design, warranty claim investigation, and further engineering support roles
Supervise the work, assignments, and schedule of the Service Technicians and the profitability of the Service Department.
Assist in generating quotes for Mechanical Engineering service repairs/maintenance agreements.
Implement and maintain a comprehensive Service Technician training program.
Liaise with various engineering departments to ensure the correct compressed air installation and design.
To ensure all customers are satisfied with the proposed installation results.
Maintain the parts department including inventory.
Service Supervisor / Senior Support Engineer / Engineering Coordinator Requirements
Experience servicing or managing field service engineers within drive systems, power transmission, gearmotors, gearboxes, gear units, capital equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, hydraulics, or similar electro-mechanical engineering products.
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
An Engineering qualification in a mechanically biased engineering discipline (minimum HNC/HND)
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering company.
Knowledge of CAD packages such as Siemens NX, Autodesk, or similar CAD package
Proven experience within the compressor industry as a Service Engineer / Service Supervisor / Support Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Senior Mechanical Engineer / Technical Service Coordinator / Service Coordinator / Engineering Coordinator or similar position would be advantageous.
