Our client is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee a busy service department in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in automotive aftersales who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, driving workshop performance, and developing a high-performing team.
???? The Role As Service Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximising workshop efficiency, and delivering strong financial results.
???? Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operation of the service department and workshop
Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, and Technicians
Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
Monitor departmental performance and achieve key business objectives
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and operational procedures
Support continuous improvement across the aftersales department???? What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Service Manager within the automotive industry
Proven ability to lead and motivate a successful aftersales team
Strong commercial awareness with a focus on performance and profitability
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience managing workshop performance and departmental KPIs
