We are recruiting a Vehicle Service Manager to join our multi-franchise approved car dealership in Chippenham. This is a senior aftersales opportunity offering a negotiable basic salary, performance-related bonuses and uncapped on-target earnings of approximately £50,000 per annum. As Vehicle Service Manager, you will report directly to the Director and play a key role within our management team. We are seeking an experienced automotive professional who can lead an efficient, profitable and customer-focused aftersales operation.

Working hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, plus one in two Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:30pm.Duties of a Service Manager:
The Vehicle Service Manager will lead and support approximately eight Vehicle Technicians, four Service Advisors, one Workshop Controller and one Parts Advisor.
Manage the daily operation of the service department, maximising workshop efficiency and labour sales.
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and ensure an excellent aftersales experience.
Monitor departmental performance, implement improvements and protect our reputation.
Work proactively with colleagues and senior management to achieve business objectives.Requirements:
Recent or current experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise-approved car dealership.
The successful Vehicle Service Manager will be an effective leader with strong people-management and communication skills.
A proactive, commercially focused and determined approach to improving customer satisfaction.
Good IT literacy and the ability to work with relevant dealership systems.
A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
